THE JUNIOR ENSEMBLE
The Junior Ensemble is for ambitious musicians who wish to partake in our weekly elementary orchestra training programme. This is also the first step of the orchestral pathway for aspiring members to move up to our
Selangor Symphony Youth Orchestra.
We welcome any players who play the violin, viola, cello, double bass, flute, oboe, clarinet, trumpet, and trombone to join the Junior Ensemble.
The Junior Ensemble rehearses on every Saturday 11:30am - 1pm at Oasis Village in Ara Damansara, Petaling Jaya on the following classes and activities:
Weekly Classes on every Saturday:

11:30am - 1pm: Full ensemble and/or sectional rehearsals.
Annual activities:
- A few concerts a year including annual concert, shopping mall concert, and side-by-side concert with the Selangor Symphony Youth Orchestra
- Participate in annual Music Camp
- Watch rehearsals of SSO
- Observe masterclasses coached by SSO guest soloists
- Special workshop on educational topics presented by scholars and renowned guest speakers
