The Young Artistes Ensemble (YAE) is a chamber ensemble where its players rehearse and perform in both the YAE and Selangor Symphony Youth Orchestra (SSYO). Comprising selected advanced players of the SSYO, the YAE members receive the following enhanced opportunities and values:

• Outreach performance opportunities including school visits, orphanages, and underprivileged community centres — offering meaningful real-world experience while strengthening each player’s artistic profile.

• Paid performance engagements at private and corporate events, such as weddings and company celebrations. Each YAE player will receive a performance stipend of RM150 - RM200 per event.

 

• Additional professional chamber music coaching. This specialised training deepens musical understanding and builds a strong foundation for becoming well-rounded and versatile musicians.
